The readings of the two largest cemeteries in Clinton County, Illinois were completed as of 31 Dec 2002. The task of reading it took many months and was just the beginning. It took many more months to get all the data entered and organized. The Carlyle City Cemetery and St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Carlyle adjoin each other and actually look like one huge cemetery. No signs exist to define one from another.
