I have an antique music album with pictures of Henry Zurliene and Mary Zurliene in it, plus others not labeled. There is a picture of a memorial for Henry Zurliene w/date of death 03-03-04. Are there any decendants that would be interested in these pictures?

Hi, Thanks for doing what you do. The internet is wonderful for gene research.
I'm looking for the the Gullick Graveyard that's supposed to be around Aviston. It's apparently not the one up on Leroy Rd. toward Highland. I can't find anything specific on the 'net and there are too many small graveyards to scan the aerial photos for likely suspects.
I'm a descendant of Ira Gullick = Nancy B. Gingles. I'm coming to Cahokia Indian Mounds next week and thought I'd swing out to Clinton/Madison to hunt up some gravestones.
Thanks for any help!

Loretta Cope Strake wrote the book that you have listed under "Lookup Volunteers" entitled, "Trenton's Past in Our Presence", and I helped her edit and transfer it to Word for publication. This project was underwritten and distributed by the Trenton Woman's Club. Since then we have published a book for the Trenton Sesquicentennial that is filled with historic photos submitted by Trenton residents and scanned for publication. I think this would be a rich resource for your site (which I didn't know existed until I received a request this week from someone in Lakeland FL who was seeking information on the Cope family. She had discovered the title by Loretta on your site and found the contact information which came to me).

My great, great, great grandfather, Dr. Jacob Murdick practiced medicine in Clinton and Bond counties from roughly 1850 to 1885. He married in 1854 Lucinda Morton. I can not find any accurate records of his birth which was possibly in Monroe county, IL or his death which I have very little clues for.

This website is a fantastic resource for researching family history in Clinton County. Thank you very much for all your work in maintaining and updating it.
I just wanted to share an excellent website that has the scanned records of the Catholic Church in the entire Belleville Diocese for southern IL from 1729-1956. It is not indexed, but is sorted by county, then town, and then by church for searching. Running searches and printing and/or saving the scanned images you find are completely free as well! I have found this to be very helpful in finding sources to back up my family tree.
Enjoy!
