The instructons are to contact Teresa Tully to find any further information about our ancestors if found in the book.
My ancestors are Henry Hummel and Carolina Griesbaum Hummel. Are they mentioned elsewhere in the book?

I am trying to find out anything I can about the first Bass of my family to move to this area. His name was Gilford (Guilford) Bass, Sr. He passed away in 1854. Married to Married to Mary Ann Procter. Sons- Gilford, Elijah, and Henry. I am a member of the Bond County Geneological Society so I have put in quite a bit of time on checking this out. The family was mostly in the Wheatfield Township area. I have found tombstones in Bond County in Wisetown, Greene, Campground (where son Henry is buried) and Mt. Auburn in Greenville. My grandfather was Roy Edger Bass and his father was Charles W. Bass, who was married to Susie Stubblefield. My grandfather and great grandfather had a farm right on the Clinton County/Bond County line north of Stooetown from, as for as I can tell, the 1880's until 1970. Any help you can give me on this would be much appreciated. I thank you in advance. Gilford was also in the war of 1812. Thank again, Gail M. Bass.

I was wondering if there were any civil war monuments in Clinton County. I am particularly interested in the 30th IL and if you are aware of any items/holdings I’d be very much interested.
Thank-you,
