Pearl Boatright, 78
Former Keyesport resident Mrs. Pearl Boatright died Thursday, Sept. 23rd, 1999, at Utlaut Memorial Hospital in Greenville at the age of 78 years. A daughter of Isaac and Ruby Vogel Golder, she was born in Irishtown township on Feb. 23rd, 1921. On June 2nd, 1946, in Carlyle, she married Nyle Boatright and he died on Aug. 2nd, 1988.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sue McCasland of Greenville, one granddaughter and one sister, Mabel Golder of Keyesport. A son, Dale Boatright, preceded her in death in 1993 along with two daughters who died in infancy and two brothers, Paul and Alvin Golder.
Mrs. Boatright was a former Carlyle Healthcare employee. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Greenville, Women's Group of the church and Utlaut Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She had moved to Greenville from Keyesport in 1987.
Funeral services were at 1:30 Sunday, Sept. 26th, at the Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle. Burial followed in McKendree Chapel cemetery near Keyesport.
