Beulah O. Bretsch, 90
Beulah O. Bretsch, 90, of West Frankfort and formerly of Mascoutah, died Friday, Sept. 3rd, 2004, at Herrin Hospital.
She was born July 23rd, 1914, in Belleville, the daughter of Peter P. and Bertha Dickhaut Sins, and they preceded her in death. She married Oscar A. Bretsch, and he preceded her in death Oct. 4th, 1988.
Surviving is a son, Donald Bretsch of Centralia, who was the former principal of Carlyle High School; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charley, Ervin and Walter Sins, Sr.; and three sisters, Hilda Buehler, Leona Burns and Olinda Kirsch.
She formerly worked and operated the Bretsch Greenhouse and Florist in Mascoutah and later was a cafeteria worker at the Mascoutah High School.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 10th, at 10 a.m. at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.
Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 9th, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
